Board Director - Business Development
DACS is looking for a new Non-Executive Board Director with Business Development Expertise.

The Role
We are seeking an individual with significant experience in business development and developing new products and services to join DACS as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Business Development Committee. With excellent commercial acumen and entrepreneurial vision, you will be excited by the opportunity to play your part in realising DACS’ ambitious growth strategy.
Working closely with the executive team, the Board of Directors is DACS' governing body. You will be jointly responsible for the overall strategic direction and control of the organisation, including business planning, the allocation of financial resources and setting criteria against which DACS' performance will be judged, making sure that DACS acts in the best interest of artists and visual creators and delivers high quality services in accordance with the Articles of Association.
Stipend: Annual stipend of £6,095 plus reimbursement of reasonable expenses and which is inclusive of the chairing responsibilities for this role.
Commitment: Four Board meetings per year plus attendance at selected Committee meetings (including Chairing the Business Development Committee), strategic planning meetings and social events equivalent to a commitment of 1 day per month.
