Board Director - Picture Library representative
DACS is seeking a Picture Library representative to join our Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Member Director

The Role
We are seeking a Picture Library representative with significant senior leadership experience to join the Board of DACS. With extensive strategic experience and commercial acumen, you will be committed to ensuring artists and artists’ estates benefit from an ongoing stake in the value of their work.
Working closely with the executive team, the Board of Directors is DACS’ governing body. You will be jointly responsible for the overall strategic direction and control of the organisation, including business planning, the allocation of financial resources and setting criteria against which DACS’ performance will be judged, making sure that DACS acts in the best interests of artists and visual creators and delivers high quality services in accordance with the Articles of Association.
Stipend: Annual stipend of £4,875 plus reimbursement of reasonable expenses.
Commitment: Four Board meetings per year plus attendance at selected Committee meetings, strategic planning meetings and social events equivalent to a commitment of 1 day per month.
