DACS and our artists members teamed up with D&AD for their 2017 Festival in London.

Event details

As part of the conference’s discussions between leading creators about crafting ‘big ideas’ and the creative processes behind their work, we organised a special panel fringe event How to Create Magic: An Artist’s View, which took place at DACS.

Our renowned panel of speakers included Rut Blees Luxemburg, Gordon Cheung, Wendy McMurdo and Beth Nicholas, who shared their personal stories, and inspiration behind their stunning artworks and creative careers. We got a personal insight into their multimedia practices and discovered some of the links between different creative practices, including art and design.
